Snowmobile Trail Report

Report as of February 23, 2017: Due to rapidly deteriorating conditions and the presence of large areas of running water on the trails, the entire Langlade County Snowmobile trail system will close effective immediately..


CROSS-COUNTRY SKI TRAILS:

Gartzke Flowage Cross-Country Ski Trail

  • Trail update as of February 25, 2017
    The Gartzke Flowage Ski Trail has been groomed. All trails were packed, combed and tracked. They are in very good to excellent shape.
  • The Snowshoe Trail is in excellent condition. 

Jack Lake Cross-Country Ski Trail

  • Trail update as of February 27, 2017
    The Jack Lake Ski Trail are in good condition, a few areas may have a very think base and several areas of standing water/slush. The green thumb & balsam loop at Jack Lake trails are groomed. The Yukon (expert loop) will not be groomed this year.

Kettlebowl Cross-Country Ski Trail

  • Trail update as of February 27, 2017
    The Kettlebowl Ski Trail has been groomed. The trails in great condition. The Plum Creek Loop will not be groomed this year.

Maranatha Cross-Country Ski Trail

  • Trail update as of February 22, 2017
    The Maranatha Ski Trail has been groomed and tracked. Since 95% of the trail is in the woods, the trails are in good condition.

Moccasin Lake Cross-County Ski Trail

  • Trail update as of February 25, 2017
    The Moccasin Ski trail has been groomed and tracked. They are in very good condition. There is some water at the top of the Luge from the recent melting.
  • The snowshoe trails was mostly packed, but there is water in some of the low areas.

Springbrook Cross-Country Ski Trail

  • Trail update as of February 16, 2017
    The Springbrook Trail is in fair condition.

DOWNHILL SKIING:

Kettlebowl Ski Hill - N6875 Hwy 52, Antigo

  • Kettlebowl Ski Hill will be open Saturday, February 25 and 26, noon - 4 pm.
    Thank you to all the volunteers that help during the ski season.
    Normal operating hours are Saturday and Sunday noon - 4 p.m., weather permitting.
