Skating/Skateboarding in Langlade County

Antigo offers great skating opportunities with an outdoor ice skating area and one indoor rink.

The Peaceful Valley Outdoor Hockey Rink is open in winter when it is flooded for pick-up hockey games, figure skating, and broomball. This rink has full boards, nets, lights, and a warming house with restrooms.

The Peaceful Valley Heinzen Pavilion Ice Rink offers skating for figure and non-hockey skaters with connecting ice trail to the hockey rink.

Langlade County Indoor Ice Rink is in the Multi-Purpose Building at the Langlade County Fairgrounds. The building features a seasonal ice rink with a scoreboard, announcer booth, bleachers, a full-service kitchen, large restrooms, and lots of room. The indoor rink is home to the Antigo Red Robins Hockey teams!

The Antigo Optimist Skate Park is located at 1011 First Ave, Antigo. This park offers a variety of ramps, rails, and boxes for skateboarders and rollerbladers to practice and showcase their skills.

The skate park is open seasonally from 8:00 am to dusk.
