Gartzke Flowage Cross-Country Ski Trail:

Gartzke trail is located east of Antigo. The trail is 6.5 miles in length and designed for all ability levels. The area has a diverse topography with high ridges and plateaus that drop sharply into the flowage basin. The trail travels through several timber types along the flowage, making it very scenic. Facilities include a parking area, restrooms, and a warming shelter.


Jack Lake Cross-Country Ski Trail

This trail, part of the Veterans Memorial Recreation Area and located at N8375 Park Road in Deerbrook, offers more distance with 12 miles of groomed trails. The terrain is gently rolling and travels through primarily northern hardwood and aspen forest types. Facilities include a parking area, restrooms, and a warming shelter.


Kettlebowl Cross-Country Ski Trail:

This trail, located northeast of Antigo at the Kettlebowl Downhill Ski Area (N6875 Hwy 52), is 2.8 miles in length. The topography includes high ridges and rolling hills. The first part of the trail is a gradual climb followed by a loop along the Ice Age Trail, highlighted at the end by an exciting downhill run. Facilities include a parking area, restrooms, and a warming shelter with concessions.


Maranatha Cross-Country Ski Trail:

This privately groomed trail system is located at N6120 Sawyer Lake Road in White Lake, four miles north of Langlade. Nine marked trail loops encompass 6.7 miles of beautiful wooded scenery in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. The trail ranges from beginner to expert levels. Parking is available at either end of the trailhead on Sawyer Lake Road or at Silver Birch Ranch. One of the trails crosses Sawyer Lake, so please use caution while skiing.


Moccasin Lake Cross-Country Ski Trail:

Discover the perfect winter adventure on a scenic 5.5-mile-long trail designed for outdoor enthusiasts of all abilities. This beautifully maintained trail is groomed for classic and freestyle skiing, offering a serene and enjoyable experience for beginners and seasoned skiers alike. Convenient amenities include a spacious parking area, restrooms, and a cozy warming lodge with firewood and tables, providing a welcoming spot to relax and recharge before or after your journey through the snow-covered landscape. From Highway 45, go East on Enterprise Lake Road, West on Moccasin Lake Road, and then South on Bear Road to the trailhead.


Springbrook Cross-Country Ski Trail  

Enjoy two scenic 2.6 miles of the Springbrook Cross-Country Ski Trail. The trail is located in the Antigo city limits, at the north end of Virginia Street, off Byrne Road, or from Badger Avenue. The trail, including an 18-foot boardwalk, provides skiers with various scenery. Please obey the City of Antigo park policies & city ordinances while using the trail. This trail is an excellent option for a quick ski outing close to home.


Kettlebowl Downhill Ski Area:  

The Kettlebowl Area also offers an excellent, publicly owned downhill facility providing great slope skiing for the entire family. Whether you enjoy skiing or snowboarding, you will find it here. The slopes are machine-groomed and open for skiing every weekend during daylight hours. The facility includes a tow rope, concessions, a chalet featuring restrooms, and a large warming area with a fabulous slope view.

CASH ONLY. No ATV on the premises.

Rentals are available in the chalet. The cost of rental gear is $20 for ski and snowboard rentals.
They do not offer sledding or tubing at this time, only skiing and snowboarding.
